Toasters, toaster ovens, rice cookers, crock pots and air fryers are allowed only in apartment-style kitchens. Bicycles may not be kept inside any housing facility.
Mattresses are already raised to their highest level before you move in, and UCF permits no additional lifts or risers of any kind. Worth knowing before you plug anything in: if your appliance sets off a fire alarm, there's a minimum $375 fee. Power strips must be 120-volt UL-approved with a built-in circuit breaker and manual reset, a cord no longer than six feet, and no more than six outlets. A decorative shower curtain is fine only over the provided one, which has to stay up.
